Pp. xx+42, 192 plates (32 coloured, the others tinted), black & white decorative initials; med. 4to; beige buckram, spine blocked in black and lettered & ruled in gilt (quite rubbed), upper board with wide decorative border in blue surrounding a large coloured pictorial onlay, the boards slightly soiled and browned, edges rubbed and fore-corners lightly bruised; tape repair to gutter between pates 80 & 81, a little light soiling and browning, outer leaves and edges a trifle foxed; Doubleday, Doran & co., Inc., New York, 1942.
