A comprehensive color pictorial handbook of the cactus flora of the world. The work contains 3006 individual color photos of cactus listed alphabetically by their genus and species names; each listing includes their Japanese common names and any distinctive characters that are listed in English. There is a table of contents to their Latin names and an introduction to the work in English. The author personally took 95% of the photos, the rest came from a colleague. A rare, truly encyclopedic work, with superb color photos. No ownership marks and no signs of use. A tiny bump to one corner; a bright and clean copy in fine (as new) condition in a fine dust jacket.
