70 pp. on 35 leaves. Original black cloth binding, company logo in faded gilt on front, very good condition, though some leaves at front are laid in. Several plates have vertical creases at the center, With one plate splitting near middle. Index tabs present. This is one of the most colorful and popular catalogues of the early 20th century. California was a predecessor to Avon. The various creams, powders, and other products are presented on color plates With rich, deep color, each of which would be suitable for framing.
