I found it's sections on Higo camellias, snow camellias, and cultivating dwarfed camellias most informative and interesting. Numerous close-up photos of beautiful Japanese varieties are included. There is an extensive section with numerous color photos of Japanese flower arrangements using camellia flowers. There also is a section including many color photos on Japanese culture dating from publication date of 1960. Some of these photos appear to be much older than the publication date and include such topics as shrines to camellias, camellia oil processed from seeds, Oshima camellia girls, etc. EB; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 278 pages.
