First Edition, 248 pages + 6 pages ads on author?s other works + 12 pages ads on Clarke & Co. publications. Approx. 5 ¼? by 8?. 45 black & white full-page illustrations plus smaller illustrations interspersed throughout the chapters. Also a full-page map. Greenish/ gray cloth hard covers with black title and pictorial scenes on front cover and gilt title and gilt decorations and pictorial scene on spine. Covers show some wear to extremities and head/foot spine. Also, front cover has a small area (3? by 5/16?) at top left edge with white speckles/small spots. Still, the front cover title and camping/sailing pictorial scenes are bold as is the greenish/gray color. Likewise, the gilt title and drawing on spine is bright and bold. Book has greenish/gray star decorated endpapers, with front endpaper having two small areas (1? by ½?) with loss of paper and a small bookstore stamp. Text pages show modest toning, but pages are clean and unmarked. Binding is tight. Book is in near VG condition. Dr. Henshall shares his adventures of two winters in Florida including information on plants, birds and fishing. His travels include trips to Jacksonville, Titusville, Rockledge, St. Johns River, Indian River, Jupiter, Seminole villages, the Everglades, the Keys, the Tampa Bay area.
