About this title

This is the third book in the "Cape Cod" series by authors Jim Coogan and Jack Sheedy (Cape Cod Companion: 1999) and (Cape Cod Voyage: 2001). Filled with more than eighty stories about one of America's best loved places, Cape Cod Harvest is a treasure of tales and anecdotes. Many of the stories have not been published before and were culled from musty archives and personal interviews. Covering more than three centuries and extending across a wide range of topics from the Pilgrims to the Camelot years of President John F. Kennedy, this is a book that should delight lovers of the "Narrow Land."

About the Author:

Jim Coogan was raised on Cape Cod and is the author of seven books about the Cape. His Sail Away Ladies: Stories of Cape Cod Women in the Age of Sail was given the 2004 U.S. Maritime Literature Award. He lives in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Jack Sheedy is the author of five Cape Cod books and has published over 500 Cape-related articles in area publications. A popular lecturer on Cape Cod history, he lives in Dennis, Massachusetts
