Janet Hicks, Ph.D., LPC, CSC is a licensed professional counselor and certified school counselor who currently serves as professor and director of the Mental Health Counseling Program at Belmont University. She holds a Ph.D. in counselor education with an emphasis in school counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Her writing has appeared in numerous publications and book chapters, and she has been invited to present at national conferences such as the American Counseling Association Conference and Expo.
