About the Author: Paul Carey is an award-winning composer/arranger whose commissions include the ACDA Women?s Choir Consortium, the world-class Incheon City Chorale of South Korea, Elysian Voices, the Cambridge Madrigal Singers, Prometheus, Ithaca College, and many more. He has worked with and conducted choirs across the U.S. and abroad. Recently, Paul spent three summers as director of Choral Music at the North Carolina East Governor?s School. Paul?s works have been conducted and recorded by many of today?s leading conductors such as Charles Bruffy, Lynne Gackle, Joshua Haberman, Sigrid Johnson, Nancy Menk, Richard Nance, Jo-Michael Scheibe, Mary Alice Stollak, Ronald Staheli, and Hakwon Yoon. As part of his commitment to furthering and raising the standards of choral arts, Paul has presented Interest Sessions at ACDA conferences on the state, division, and national levels, as well as overseas and at NafME, OAKE and AGO conferences. As founder and director of the professional women's ensemble, "Vox Caelestis", Paul became known for his musical leadership, masterful programming and outreach to the community.
