VICEN� PAG�S JORD� (Figueres, 1963 – Torroella de Montgr�, 2022) va guanyar la Biennal de Barcelona en l’apartat de literatura als 25 anys. L’any seg�ent va apar�ixer el seu primer llibre, Cercles d’infinites combinacions, al qual seguirien En companyia de l’altre (premi Documenta 1998) i El poeta i altres contes (premi Merc� Rodoreda 2004). Una antologia d’aquesta narrativa curta va veure la llum amb el t�tol Exorcismes l’any 2018. En paral�lel, va publicar les novel�les El m�n d’Horaci (1995, reescrita i reeditada el 2016), Carta a la reina d’Anglaterra (1997), La felicitat no �s completa (premi Sant Joan 2003), Els jugadors de whist (premi Crexells 2009), Dies de frontera (premi Sant Jordi 2013) i Robinson (2017). Entre altres obres, tamb� �s autor d’assaigs sobre la lectura i l’escriptura, com Un tramvia anomenat text (1998) i De Robinson Crusoe a Peter Pan.
