About this Item

First edition. Quarto sized volume in pebbled red vcloth lettered in black and with gilt portrait and facsimile signature of Theodore Roosevelt. ix+ 254 pp. Biographical text by Albert Shaw. Interesting collection of over 600 cartoons depicting the life and adventures (of all sorts) of Theodore Roosevelt, from his earlist political experiences of the 1880s through the end of his presidency, his African safari and his trip to Europe and adulatory home-coming. A very good example, gilt bright, stain to the lower corner of the rear board and some minor rippling to the final few leaves. One of the more interesting and entertaining TR books we've encountered.
