About the Author:

Elizabeth Von Vogt began writing in New York when her brother, John C. Holmes, introduced her to Jack Kerouac and the Beats. She taught English in Chicago, raised stepchildren and wrote. Her novel, An Awful Intimacy, won the Ulysses Award (Indylit, 2003) and the Ecstrom Award (2004) from Norumbega Fiction Awards. She and her husband live in Maine.
