About this Item

Mary Chalmers wrote and illustrated the most charming books, often starring a cat! This story about Sam, a cat who liked to pretend, comes across a natural, stage-like clearing in a wood, and proceeds to act out his own play. Paper-covered boards have discoloration and small stains, and corners are rubbed and worn. But the interior is very nice, pages generally crisp, clean, and bright. No previous owner name or any other marks. Quite uncommon. Please see photos. Bookseller Inventory # 94090902
