Original issue. Brown covers, 6x9 inches, index, 72 pp, illustrated with black and white drawings and photographs, including a frontispiece showing 13 of the buildings in their factory complex. Paperback, fair to good. Covers quite worn, 2 to 3 inch deep piece torn off width of front cover, 1 inch piece off lower corner there, chipped and torn along spine. Internally, corners bumped, foxing on first and last few leaves, some smudges, prices and part numbers neatly written on a half dozen or so pages, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked. While our harvest of organic produce may be subject to the whims of nature, the crop of books is always a good one. The selection is as varied as the interests of its proprietor. A native of NYC, who dissipated his youth and more mature years in used bookstores and reading, as well as earning degrees in history, biology, banking and counseling plus studying 2 years at the University of Paris, he is constantly acquiring quaint and curious volumes, as well as the more mundane, on every imaginable subject. Low overhead means low prices geared towards the trade and the savvy retail client. To the extent possible, we use recycled packaging material (economy and ecology are both dervied from the same Greek root), and all books are shipped in corrugated cardboard. Every attempt is made to accurately describe the books, including their faults, and everything is completely guaranteed! (Sorry, we are strictly mail order, and due to insurance and other concerns cannot accomodate visitors.) On-line booksellers since 1996; ancient for this business!
