Octavo, 32pp. One of 200 copies, each with a portrait of British artist, printer, and lithographer Charles Shannon engraved on wood by Ricketts, after a medal by Alphonse Legros. Ricketts met Shannon while attending art school, and they became life-long partners: together they founded the magazine The Dial and the Vale Press. John Quinn's copy, with his bookplate, which was designed by British illustrator Sidney H. Sime and printed by Doves Press co-founder Emery Walker.
