The boards have been grazed by an enlightenment seeking insect--front and rear of cover Light miscoloration toward bottom edge of front cover and very mild smudge on middle of back.Otherwiseinterrior Vg plus. The end papers have a printed pattern. Front endpaper has a small rip near bottom of spine, the rear has a few spots of discoloration. End papers and pages are very lightly agetoned. Title page is numbered: this is number 337 of only 500 presentation copies produced. Laid in between the endpapers is a document with stapled wraps, labeled "Zazen Notes." This document appears to be a resume of plan for financing the purchase of 113 East 30th Street in New York City by The First Zen Institute of America, Inc. (the book's publisher.)
