About this title

Synopsis:

Neither theology nor criticism, devotion nor doctrine, this book evolves out of uniquely Gaelic personality traits. Narratives of Celtic culture blend into the experiences of the Galatian churches, founded by Paul.

About the Author:

Hyveth B. Williams has written three books: Will I Ever Learn? (Autobiography, 1996); Anticipation: Waiting on Tiptoes for the Lord (2001); and Secrets of a Happy Heart: A Fresh Look at the Sermon on the Mount (2004). Also, she has contributed chapters to three other books. All of these were shaped by an editor to fit the theme of the book. Writing The Celt and the Christ was Hyveth’s first real experience as a co-author. More than just a “writing together,” the co-authors have developed a lifelong friendship. Instead of rejoicing that the task is done, we find ourselves missing the times of study and creative writing. We promise to come up with another project soon! This, after all, seems now to be the natural course of our lives. To celebrate the completion of this book, we share a Welsh love spoon (hand-carved in Australia). The designs symbolize, very naturally, the essence of the spiritual adventure we have taken. We invite our readers to join us here in yet one more journey of the soul.
