About this title

Synopsis:

About the Author:

Alton James has been a life-long student of the arts. James incorporates every aspect of his studies into the work that he creates. Having graduated from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a Bachelor's in English and minors in Music and African-American Studies, his creativity screams from the pages themselves. With his roots beginning on the Eastside of Detroit, Michigan, James invokes an array of sentiments-from melancholy, to real, to the surreal. He calls on not only his identity, but he capitalizes on his interests as well. As an educator, he has been working to cultivate a new generation of thinkers-a generation ready to change themselves, their communities, and the world at large. Through his various endeavors, James pursues his passions relentlessly. With a published album, other literary publications, a Master's in Education, and a currently pursued doctoral degree, the sky is simply the launchpad for this multitalented erudite.
