Octavo; pp; 212; red cloth, gilt; Tipped on to the front free fly is a card, "the compliments of Lawrence Richey" Accopanying this book is a letter on White House stationery with envelope, laid in, from Richey dated November 22, 1932. Richey is conveying President Hoover's good wishes and thanks for a previous message of support. Richey appears to have been far more than a confidential secretary.
