This has the same inside cover as the 1905 edition of the dictionary however instead of the date 1905 and London at the foot of the page, in this book there is the Edinburgh Address and no mention of London or the year. Great condition with all pages unmarked, in place and in tact. The cover has not survived the bookshelves and the Front has come away. This however is restorable. A fascinating edition of teh dictionary. Listed are the New words for that edition which include Aeroplane, Air-craft, Biplane, Electron and Chassis. Which dates this edition. As shown in the photos, over 1250 pages with illustrations. A superb piece of history and with restoration of the cover an essential for any library that includes historic books.
