About this Item

Wraps; 4to; pp. [69], illustrated. Inscribed on the front flyleaf, "For Claibe -- 'The humble music publishing house shook its head'. Love fron Kenward / June 12, 1968." Kenward Elmslie was a writer, publisher, and performer associated with the New York School of poetry. He collaborated with the composer Claibe Richardson on the theatrical productions "Lola," and Truman Capote's "The Grass Harp." Covers chipped along the edges; a little faint soiling at bottom corner, occasional creeping a little bit into the margins, but never infringing upon the text itself. An interesting association copy.
