Marbled paper-covered boards over dark green leather spine and corners. Extremities are rubbed, corners worn. Recently rebacked with new green cloth, original spine laid down. Spine has four raised bands which has fine gilt detail and lettering, lettering is faded. Spine is rubbed and slightly worn at head and foot. Endpp., prelims., and rear pp. have some small worm holes. Significant foxing throughout, as well as some water stains. Twenty-four illustrated plates protected by tissue guards. Water damage only in the margins of the plates, not affecting actual image. Binding is sound and tight. Respectable copy, quite scarce. Digital image available. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" Tall Oblong.
