ASSOCIATION COPY INSCRIBED, "BETTY BARBEE / WITH LOVE FROM / CHARLOTTE'S MOTHER." A biographical celebration by long-time English Professor (1927 - 1947), and Dean of Women at William and Mary College, after whom was named Landrum Hall in 1958, of one Charlotte Sinclair Robertson (9/30/00 - 11/3/17) of Louisville, Kentucky, a young woman of promise who died from a typhoid illness at the age of 17. Her father, Archibald Thomas Robertson, was a renowned New Testament scholar and author, and Professor at Louisville's Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her mother was the former Ella Broadus.
