This book is titled: "Chassis 141 - The Story of the First Le Mans Bentley " written by Dr. Clare Hay. *This book is special in that it was hand-signed twice! Once by the Bentley car owner, Peter Briggs, and the second time by the Editor/Publisher, Graeme Cocks. This hardbound book has 152 pages, with many color (colour) and B/W photos. This is the complete history of the very important Bentley 3-litre chassis #141 motor car. In 1923 Captain John F. Duff convinced W. O. Bentley to support his entry in the 24-Hours of Le Mans race. Also,the car's competition history, its' ownership, and details of the total restoration that was completed in 2001. This desirable Limited Edition was published in 2009 by Astuto Pty Ltd. in Australia. This book, and its'original non-price clipped dust jacket, are in nice As New condition!.
