8vo., blue pictorial wrappers printed in black; near fine. First edition, first issue with quotation marks missing at the beginning of "Dodsworth" on the title page. One of a supposed 300 copies printed. Report on a strike in Marion, North Carolina in which six textile workers were shot to death as they picketed. Published in support of a fundraising effort for the strikers, this pamphlet followed by nearly a month a series of six articles that Lewis published on union organizing and the strike that appeared in the Scripps-Howard newspapers in October 1929.
