Title: Chicago Shutzen-Verein.
Two (2) printed tickets, each 3" X 1½" heavy card stock, Chicago, IL, 1880 September 12-14 and 1880 August 8-10. Very good. Faint edgewear, with small ink stain at upper right of one. Tickets, printed entirely in German, to two shooting events of this long-defunct "Chicago Shooting Club." Each ticket features a slim double-ruled margin and a small graphic at center depicting two crossed rifles behind a circular target. The September ticket is bright orange, and reads in full: "Chicago Schutzen-Verein, / Blattchen Ticket, / 12., 13., and 14. September 1880." The August ticket is lavender, and reads in full: "Blattchen-Ticket. / 8., 9. and 10. August 1800," and in miniscule print beneath notes the printer ("Zapp & Bradford, Prs., 88 Lake St., Chicago."). Most unusual. Bookseller Inventory # 36912
