About the Author: Children of Kahala Sun is the fourth novel written by Mahealani Shellabarger. It is the sequel to Kahala Sun about orphans who have been given love, nurturing and homes on the shores of Kahala. Mahealani now resides in Hawaii after many years of living in Santa Barbara, California and was inspired to write the Kahala series after her return home.
