[MINIATURE] [RELIGION]. Miniature (2 ½" x 2 1/8"); 192 pp; black pebbled cloth over board, blind stamped Coptic cross on front & rear, gilt stamped lettering on spine with gilt ruling and ornament; gift inscription on ffep dated "Feb 20/92"; fp + 24 additional engraved full-page illustrations; small puncture to rear bottom joint (worm hole?); near fine. (Not found in Welsh) (AAS 544083). OCLC locates 9 copies. A lovely miniature child's Bible story book with 24 chapters and a full-page engraved illustration preceding each. The blind-stamped cross on the front and rear boards appears to be a Coptic cross of either Egyptian or Ethiopian tradition, with the 12 points representing the 12 apostles of Jesus.
