About this title

Synopsis:

I NY
A book of New York street art
By Kelly Burns
-------------------------------------------------------------
Self published: 4 am Press.
Paperback
288 pages
8.5 x 6.5 inches
500 color photos -------------------------------------------------------------
Over the past two or three years, street art has been enjoying an international boom. This book captures its development in New York City during that time. Seven years of first hand experience with the successes and failures of this unlawful occupation has given the author/photographer a personal and respectful connection to the subject. Evidence of that connection- and a visible passion for New York, comes through in the photographs. I NY acknowledges the significance of the beginner and the dabbler as well as the more recognized and committed artist.
Some of the artists featured: Swoon, Faile, Bast, Rot Gut...

About the Author:

Kelly Burns is a Manhattan based photographer with a background in fine and graphic arts. I NY is his first book. He is currently working on a second publication.
