Synopsis: This book is different because the Authors - (husband, as a Medical Doctor and his wife, as a Teacher) - used medical and scientific techniques to discover the original truth in historical documents. This is the reason why they were able to discover new diagnosis that the so called historians missed! This book is divided into four parts: THE FIRST part deals with the Portuguese nationality of Christopher Columbus. By analyzing the original documents they demonstrate that the Navigator NEVER used the name Columbus while he was alive! The Authors visited the Vatican Library and discovered there two Papal Bulls with his true name: Cristovao Colon. They also deciphered the Navigator s Monogram and dissected in minute detail his Sigla or Trademark. They proposed a scientific project to confirm the Navigator s nationality by DNA diagnosis. The Authors demonstrate in minute examination that all documents attributed to the Italian Columbus are FORGERIES! THE SECOND part of this book presents an update epigraphic analysis of the Dighton Rock inscriptions made by Miguel Corte Real in 1511 (with several photos taken at night). Also presents the influence of the Portuguese language and their anthropological impact among the Wampanoag Indians of New England. It also discusses with photos the Portuguese Tower of Newport and the Portuguese Ninigret Fort in Rhode Island. THE THIRD part of this book deals with the Portuguese Cartography of North America since 1424 and analyzes in minute detail several original maps. THE FOURTH part of this book deals with the struggle and the pain that today s Portuguese immigrants have to endure in order to succeed in the American Society. This book was adapted into a movie which received the 'Bisoto D'Oro' at the Venice International Film Festival in 2007. This book has 396 pages, 248 illustrations and the majority of them are in color! Thank you.
