About this Item

Nice, tight, clean, very good copy with mild edge wear to cloth. No jacket. Standard age-darkening to paper. A technical survey of the efforts to improve film making processes in the era when color was a novelty and sound was just in its infancy. This book covers both topics and a host of others including wide film technology(!) including Fox Grandeur process. Articles by golden-age cinematographers and other notables including William Cameron Menzies. A pity only two volumes of this Annual were published. The one offered here is the first. 606 pages plus 60 pages of ads. Bookseller Inventory # 109339
