This NF quality book was copyrighted in 1933 and is published by the Goldsmith Publishing Co.; it is 7-5/8" tall with 252 numbered pages of text. This book has a green cloth binding with all black lettering and image; because it has a small picture on the front, it is a format #1 book, as per Mattson & Davis. It is square, extremely clean, free of corner bumps and edge dings; the head and heel of the spine are bumped without damage; the bottom edges have very little wear. The spine is clean and the lettering is clear and intact. The front panel is clean and has very little wear. The interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. Both hinges are quite strong and not damaged in any fashion. The text paper is heavily toned but it is flexible and not brittle. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has no illustrations. The series list in the front of the book lists the first and second books in the series. The NF jacket is clean with tiny chips at the head and heel of the spine, with light wear and slight color loss at both front corners. There is a 1" closed tear at the top of the rear gutter and a 2-1/2" closed tear down the rear fold and onto the rear panel. There is no tape on this jacket.
