Synopsis: What does it mean to let God direct every part of out lives? This circuit-riding preacher illustrates how this can be a reality in our day to day lives.
Preacher's mission in life is to bring the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ to rural America in the 1800s. Believing his to be a mission from God, and that God directs his every step, he ministers from town to town -- riding his mule-- Noah.
God is in control, even when while riding to his next assignment during a blinding rainstorm, Preacher is delayed by a tree falling on him. The delay turns out to be just long enough for him to meet a lady in distress and incur the wrath of a sinister band calling itself the Brotherhood. More than once Preacher's life is threatened because he acts the part of the Good Samaritan in helping her and her friend avoid the Brotherhood's evil schemes.
Later, in a rough-and-tumble lumber town, God again proves He is in control of the ministry He has called Preacher to.
Circuit Rider is an adventure filled with danger, but illustrating how Jesus walks right beside us, no matter how dark the situation may appear. When our lives are committed to Him, they are never dull!
