Bailey and F. Hopkinton Smith. Founded in 1882 as the Western Reserve School of Design for Women, it was renamed in 1891, eventually becoming known as the well-regarded Cleveland Institute of Art. GOOD condition. Small chips missing from the lower corners of the front and rear wraps, with a 3 by 1/2 inch piece missing from the upper fore edge. Minor soiling, toning and fading.
