107 p. plus seven pages of additional advertising. This class yearbook has a group photo of the twenty-nine graduates of 1900 and half-page photos of each individual, with their names and home towns. There were three women in the class. There is information on the administration, board of directors, and faculty (all pictured) and on dozens of clubs and societies, also pictured. [The "Ladies Physical Culture Class" is not to be missed.] The annual lists all the schools, departments, and colleges of Augustana College and Seminary, has histories of the school and the class, the town and vicinity, etc., with many photographs. There are sixteen pages of advertising for area businesses (dry goods, a hotel, a dealer in musical merchandise, a plow company and a carriage company, a bank, engravers, lumber company, and more), located in Rock Island, Moline, Chicago, or Davenport, Iowa. Purple stiff paper cover, horizontal 12mo (5 3/4" x 8 1/2"), perfect binding repaired at upper end of spine with acid-free archival clear tape; interior pages good quality glossy paper; black-and-white illustrations, overall very good.
