Reed was a founder of this magazine, a member of its Board of Directors, a contributor to this first issue, and wrote the opening rationale for this journal in its first pages, "An Explanation," and a essay, "Classical New York: The Story City Planning in New York". This issue is near fine in original wrappers with light wear.
