Navy blue cloth boards have bright gilt lettering and decoration on the front cover and spine. Lower extremities and corners are slightly rubbed. Covers are clean and fresh. Foot of spine is a trifle bumped and rubbed. #174 of 500 copies. A pictorial check list and collation together with a history of each ship. Text is very embellished with numerous illustrations. Binding is sound and tight. D.j. is darkened, slight wear to the extremities, including creasing, small closed tears, and rubbing; moreso at head and foot of d.j. spine and flap fold corners. Navy blue slip case has a paper label on the spine. Spine is stained/darkened. Extemities are chipped. Nice copy, digital image available. Bookseller Inventory # 001335
