We can find only one later volume of this title to come to auction since 1975. One of several magazines devoted to the carriage industry, the Journal was published in Philadelphia from 1865 to 1930 under a variety of titles: The Coach-Makers' International Journal 1865-73; Carriage Monthly 1873-1915; Vehicle Monthly 1916-21; and Motor Vehicle Monthly 1922-30 (Mott III:216n.
