Printed in the Mohawk Indian Nation language with its English counterpart facing opposite. 16mo [4.5" x 6.5"]. The pagination is complicated and irregular, as noted in the OCLC (Worldcat) locations; The book is collated and perfect, complete, and as issued. There are separate title pages in two languages; pp. 3-54 have the page numbers duplicated; p. "55" not taken into account in assigning page numbers; pp. 56-95 numbered in the ordinary manner; pp. 96-151 page numbers duplicated; and finally pp. 152-163 numbered in the ordinary manner. Hardbound in publisher's smooth black cloth with blind-stamped decorative border on the boards. The book is in very good condition. Wear and soiling to the boards and spine with worn corners. Previous owner's inscription" Mr. Dan Williams of Tuscarora Reservation, N. Y." on the front endpaper. The binding is starting at various points throughout the textblock.
