About the Author:

Phillip Truong is a Chaozhou, Chinese-American. The last name was translated to Vietnamese from the Chinese language. Phillip began writing Colony in the Core: Traitors and Rebels in the eighth grade which was soon completed three years later in time for his 16th birthday. Colony in the Core: The Maker Manuscript is the second installment to Colony in the Core. He was born in Waynesboro, Virginia in December of 1989. He moved to Arlington, Texas at the age of six. Phillip is currently studying business administration at the University of Texas at Arlington.
