About this title

Synopsis:

America’s leading color expert shows how to choose the right color combinations for all your rooms based on Color Moods from your own personality, nature, and travel. Most decorating books start out telling readers how to achieve someone else’s notion of how a room should look. This book is different. It helps you determine how you want yourself, your family, and your friends to feel when entering each room in your home. It combines psychology with a practical how-to and reveals which colors and color combinations will achieve the feeling and personal style you want to project in each room.

About the Author:

Leatrice Eiseman is founder and director of the Eiseman Center for Color Information and Training, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, and spokesperson for Pantone, Inc. - the source of the world's most used color specification system. For the last twenty-five years she has been consulted by manufacturers, businesses, and designers on how to make the best and most educated color choices for their new products, logos and identification symbols, interior and exterior designs. Ms. Eiseman travels 160 days a year speaking on color at consumer art shows, trade shows, design centers, schools, and conventions. Previous titles include "Alive with Color" (Acropolis Books, 1983) and "The Pantone Book of Color" (Harry Abrams, 1990).
