Wash. DC: Infantry Journal. Investigation of the functions of the G-2, and explains how it works using examples from WW I; 18 fold-out sketches and one other fold-out chart; author was instructor at Command & General Staff School, Ft Leavenworth, Kansas from 1932-36; all the fold-outs are in very nice shape, except #10 which was opened poorly; there is a 6" tear along one of the sections about which 2" intrude into the sketch; however, none of the sketch is missing; on the outside margin of this same sketch there are some chips, but again, nothing of importance is missing. Signed by Capt R.K. Boyd, 38th Infantry, Nov 1940. First edition in good condition. 121p. Bookseller Inventory # 31745
