A new translation by M. J. A. Amar. This three volume set has dark green full leather binding with decorative gilt rules and four raised bands with bright gilt decorations and lettering on spines. All three volumes are in comparable condition. Covers are clean, though a little rubbed, extremities are rubbed, corners a bit moreso. Marbled endpp., pastedowns are a bit stained near the extremities. Spines are slightly bumped and rubbed at head and foot. Two leaves are missing from the preliminaries of Volume I, possibly a blank leaf and portrait frontispiece. Bilingual edition in French and Latin.A bit foxed, though it doesn't interfere with legibility. Bindings are sound and tight. Digital images available. Bookseller Inventory # 003502
