About the Author:

Amelia Jestings is a Rhode Island attorney, and former Special Assistant Attorney General for the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office and later a Public Defender. She left her career behind in order to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a novelist.Using her wealth of experience before the criminal courts of Rhode Island and as a law student in Boston, she has tapped into her personal resources and brought many of her experiences to life on the written page.She resides in Providence, Rhode Island with her husband who is a practicing attorney and two children. She is currently working on her second novel, which should be completed later this year.
