About this Item

Description:

Hardcovers: H 22.5cm x L 14.25cm. No dust jackets. Uniformly bound in matching dark blue cloth (despite various title page dates all twelve volumes are probably contemporary to Vol. XII's 1952 publication date); some rubbing and mottling to boards; slight flaking to spines' otherwise still bright gilt lettering; bumping to spine ends. Foxing/toning to text block edges with varied occurrences to endpapers; some foxing to interior leaves. A few fore-edge corners creased from fold-ins. Past owner's various ink and/or colored pencil/regular pencil markings including writing/notes on endpapers/flyleaves, underlining, and/or marginalia found in Volumes I, III, VII, VIII, IX, XI, and XII (possible stray markings in other volumes but, if so, they eluded discovery upon cursory perusals); Volume I also has applications of white-out on pastedowns and early text. Bindings are firm. Still an attractive set as exterior cosmetics are strong. *** VOLUME I [1937]. "Categoriae and De Interpretatione" by E.M. Edghill; "Analytica Priora" by A.J.
