Book Description Harper & Brothers, New York, 1951. Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First US edition, first printing ("First Edition A-A" on the copyright page). A near fine book (previous owner's neat name and the date "March 1951" on the front end page, mild fading to the edges of the cloth and very light wear at the tip of the upper spine, else fine. The black spine is pristine and nearly flawless). The book's corners are sharp and there is no foxing or offsetting. The dustjacket is very good with shallow chipping to the upper spine end, a few short closed tears and generally light wear otherwise. The spine is sunned (everything clear and legible except for a tiny scuff mark partially obscuring the "N" in the author's last name. The lower corner of the front flap has been clipped but the price of $3.00 remains in the upper corner. Seller Inventory # B775
