A general discussion of chemistry, explaining principles behind light and heat, and with chapters on the chemical agencies of electricity, oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen, metals, alkalies, acids, composition of vegetables and animals, etc. GOOD condition. Heavy uneven darkening, fading and scuffing to the covers, with some staining, discoloration and minor soiling. Leather scuffed and worn along the extremities and hinges. Ownership signature present.
