Add to basketA4 sheet printed black on cream stock. The first piece of material published by Coracle Press, this broadsheet outlines the intentions of Coracle Press and the circumstances of its creation. Cutts writes Coracle Press has come about by the geographical separation of Stuart Mills and myself … I remain devoted largely to the tradition of the Book, of the printed poem, in its most formal sense, viewed alongside the primacy of Mallarme s Instrument Spirituel beginning to incorporate and extend the experimental work. . And continues At the same time, the printed object begins to emerge, independent in the sequence of its parts, which uses printing and process of manufacture as the integer of its multiplicity and editioning … By utilising a variety of printing methods, partially economical, partially uneconomical, it is hoped that over a long period of time, several elaborate publications will become viable . Includes information about A Book of Braids by Simon Cutts and Kay Roberts, as well as an order form for the book and the A Coracle monthly subscription. The broadside ran to 17 issues in sheet form followed by 2 folded multi-numbered issues (21 in total via 19 printed sheets). Condition: Fine.
