Portrait frontispiece in volumes I and VI, hand coloured folding frontispieces in volumes II and V - the fold of the latter bound in, and a further frontispiece in volume IV, plus 8 folding facsimiles. Ink stamps of St. Gregory's Seminary, Cincinnati, to five titles (four rectos, one verso), plus some other library marks to rectos, label removed from the paste down in volume I, small 20th century owner's label to four of the fly leaves. Contemporary speckled calf, rebacked retaining much of the original backstrips, one label with modern restoration.
