About this Item

Laid in is a typescript, possible carbon copy, single sheet, titled "Constabulary Band Concert at the Bandstand of the Philippine Reservation Saturday evening, August 27, 1905 at 7 o'clock. " It lists the program of pieces to be played begining with "Cosmopolitan America" by Helen May Butler and ending with the Star Spangled Banner. Below this states "First Lieutenant W. H. Loving, Philippines Constabulary, Director of the Constabulary Band. " Condition of this insert item is good. This special issue shows considerable wear (chipping and staining) to the front cover and to the preliminary pages. Lacks rear cover. The wear is confined to first and last two pages and a few dog-eared pages. Contents page has small holes in paper, not affecting contents text. Text is mostly clean and bright. Owner's name on cover and first page of text. Bookseller Inventory # 2492
