A true first edition with 1887 date imprinted on title page. Also ink written inscription on front end paper with 1887 date. A copy with gilt decorations and lettering on the brown cloth covers. Decorated paper inside covers and end papers. Illustrated. Bottom of front and back covers has some blemish from water spots. Spine ends and corners worn some with no cloth missing. A few pages loosened but present. Otherwise a complete copy with clean internals. For the collector! Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Bookseller Inventory # 050385
